Christmas 2008!

The kids played and played outside after the party in the beautiful falling snow!! They had snowball fights in their dresses and loved every minute of it!

"Santa" came to visit and bring some Christmas cheer. He brought each child a gift and let the magic begin! To see Santa and Christmas in the eyes of a child is the mose precious gift!

There aren't any two sweeter (and messier) kids in this world!! They were enjoying a drumstick that Aunt Jen brought to the party! Yum!!

Hollie, Peyton and Jenny enjoying their friendship!

Friends and family having a nice time at the party in the new place.

Olivia was a shining star in her Christmas program! She loved being in front of the audience.

The Christmas Party!!

We had a lot of fun welcoming family and friends to our home. Olivia and Blake helped me decorate the house and Christmas tree. We had a wonderful time! Our friends and some family came over to help us celebrate the arrival of "Santa". He came with bells-a-ringing and left on his sleigh. He brought gifts for the kids to open and enjoy! We always have such a wonderful time hanging out with our friends and reminiscing about the year. Thanks for everyone for making this past year a blessing!! And, most of all thanks for all of your support and love!

The Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy finally came and visited Olivia. She left an outfit that Olivia had been admiring and some Andrew Jackson dollar coins, 6 of them! I don't remember the tooth fairy being so generous to me when I was loosing teeth...it makes me want to yank out some of mine to see what kind of loot I can get. I thought the economy was bad, I guess not for her! It was cute, Olivia left a note for her with her little special box she made. The tooth fairy left a note answering her questions. She wanted to know what she does with all of the teeth and what she wears, stuff like that. It was really sweet to see her spell out each word and she put a lot of thought into it. Wow is she growing up quickly. Here are the pics of Aunt Juli trying to yank it out!

The Pumpkin Patch and Halloween....finally!

Finally! Here are the photos from the pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins! Where does the time go? It's now Thanksgiving and I'm just remembering Halloween...oh well. We had a great time at our friend's Grant and Vickie's for Halloween night. Good food, good friends and a lot of laughter and scares!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin patch over the weekend with Kennedy, Kaleb, Uncle Rob, Aunt Juli and Grammie June. The kids had such a great time on the zip line, the hay ride, feeding the pigs rotten pumpkins (ick!), choosing the perfect pumpkin, petting the animals in the petting zoo, and most of all, just having fun outdoors! It's been such a beautiful fall this year. We've collected leaves for school projects and just raked them up to fall into them. The air is crisp and clean. It's getting dark earlier and the sunrise is so breath taking. I love this time of year!!! When I get a chance I will post the photos of the patch.

The Famous Tooth Fairy....

Olivia is on her way to having less teeth in her little mouth! It will be her first lost tooth. I think I'm more excited than she is. I told her that I always tried to stay awake and see the tooth fairy, but never did. Here's my chance to redeem myself. I AM a night shift worker, you know! We'll see how that works out. She has her permanent teeth waiting patiently in the back of her baby teeth. She's our little shark! :) She has even made a "special" tooth fairy box for when the moment comes.

Blake is enjoying hanging out with me everyday that I'm not working. He is a great football player. He's right on target with his throws and not too bad with his catches. He's decided to be "Ironman" for Halloween. Not to sure what that is, but he does and he's excited about it. That's what counts, isn't it?
The Duck season is full underway. I haven't been to many games, but Ryan has been able to go. He's been enjoying that time. It is the time of fall...football, cold nights, warm homes, homework, and soon pomegranets (my favorite!).

Below are some photos from the summer. Yes, summer has ended and we welcome fall. Included are some of my favorite times and photos. Good times!

GO DUCKS!! Kickin' some Huskie tush!

Olivia sporting the official "O". She and Blake sat down close to the field. The kids went down on the field and met Jason Williams and Justin Roper. I'll get those on here when I get them. They had such a great time! Blake was excited that he was celebrating his birthday at the Duck game!!!!

Olivia and Blake were playing make-shift baseball with a piece of PVC pipe and a football....well, what do ya do when that's what is available?
Shannon and her hubby Chris spent some time with us at the game too! They had a great time on the field after the game meeting the players and doing cartwheels. Ahhh...to be a kid again! :)
